Tourist Guide Jizan
Jizan is the name of the capital of the Jizan province in the south-western region of Saudi Arabia. The land here is known for its fertility and most of its part acts as an agricultural field. There are a variety of pulses, plants and fruits that are known to be of the best quality. It shares its northern boundary with the popular Farasan Islands and is situated besides the sea on the red coast. Due to its fertility this city bloomed into an agricultural land and gave rise to a lot of interested immigrants. Many business activities that supported the field products emerged. The current status population of the city is 100,694 as seen in a recent census. The locals of this place are a combination of Arabs and Africans. Islam is the ruling religion amongst the masses here. The Shaffi, Maliki and the Wahhabi are some Muslim communities that have domination here. This city is famous for its elaborate productions of mango, figs and papaya.
