Light summer clothes would be ideal to carry for wearing in the city. It would be appropriate to dress moderately in public and remove shoes while visiting a religious place, also showing respect towards the local cultures would be appreciated.

Do not indulge in drug trafficking at any cost as there is a death punishment for the same. Driving rashly is also prohibited and there are speed trap cameras, all over the city, which keep a check on the same. Littering in public places or smoking would be like inviting trouble. The best time to visit the city is during the Chinese New Year which is celebrated with pomp.
