Among the main attractions are the Institute of Sinuiju Sinuiju, the commercial center of Sinuiju, the Oriental School, the University of Light Industry and the University of Sinujiu. The tourist sites are the Tonggun Hall, the Waterfall and Hot Springs. Even though the water fall is not so high, its natural beauty and pure chilled water attracts several tourists to this most attractive tourist spot of the city. Tourist can enjoy shopping and can select and pick up products according their interest at reasonable rates at the commercial centre of Sinuiju. There is also a Ferris wheel overlooking the Yalu. It has never been used, since it was built as a tourist attraction. Residents of the Chinese side of the river rent small boats and often what you see is North Korea. Tourists tend to hire speedboats or slower boats cruising along the river, hoping to take a closer look at the North Koreans.
