Busan is a city and can be undoubtedly called a metropolis due to its latest development. At some places this city is also known as Pusan. It is the largest city in South Korea that possesses a port. Busan directly faces the Korea Strait and is situated on the tip of the Korean Peninsula. The rivers Nakdong and Suyeong are two of the rivers that form the liquid bodies of the city. The city has a number of plateaus and mountains and the population towards the banks of the rivers can be called as dense. For governmental purposes, Busan is divided into 15 major administrative districts. The city has a good position besides the sea, which helped it greatly in the transport of goods and led to the flourishing of industries. The climate is of normal type, extreme type conditions are rare. The early summers can be cold due to the proximity of the sea. The winters are cold and dry but sometimes experience very high winds.
