Most visitors find the traffic scene in Seoul to be very disorderly, though there are many modes of transport to move around Seoul.
Taxis, auto rickshaws, buses and trains are all various available options.
Taxis marked ‘Mobum’, are generally black in colour and more expensive than taxis marked ‘Kaein’.
In the rush hour, from 8am to 10am and 6pm to 9pm, finding a taxi could be difficult, though the expensive ‘Mobum’ taxis might be easier to find.
The Subway in Seoul is another way to move around the city.
Bus travel can be baffling as the bus stops and routes are not well organised. The driving is also a bit reckless.
One can find both ordinary express buses as well as luxury buses for long distance highway travel, to different points of the city.
You will also find many tour companies that operate luxury coach services to most well-known tourist sites.
