Deoksugung means Deoksu palace and is a mid 15th century palace which houses the Royal Museum.
This is a small palace which is beautiful to see especially during the winter period. A must watch is the Royal Guards Changing Ceremony and on English tours, one can know the historic building background.
This palace is also known by the name, ‘Palace of Virtue and Longevity’. Built during the mid 1400s as a private villa for Prince Wolsan, the place is worth exploring.
