The National Museum of Korea is the flagship museum of Korean art and history in South Korea. Established in 1945, this museum has more than 220,000 pieces of collection and 13,000 pieces on display at one time.
One can see relics and artifacts on six of its permanent exhibition galleries like the Historical gallery, the Donation gallery, Archaeological gallery, Asian Art gallery, Fine Arts Gallery I and Fine Arts Gallery II.
The National Museum is known to be the sixth largest museum in the world with right to its floor space, covering 137,201 square meters of land.
