Dematagoda

Dematagoda is a suburb in Colombo, Sri Lanka surrounded by Borella, Kolonnawa and Maradana. The suburb consists of many schools and restaurants & bars. The suburb has many places worth visiting that keep its visitors engaged.  One can visit the Borella supermarket, the oldest, historic and the most famous supermarket in the area.  One can find everything here. It is a perfect destination to be with family and friends, relishing one in beautiful scenery, green lush parks, beaches and other religious places of interests. One can also enjoy visiting the other nearby places of interests situated in Maradana, Borella and Kolonnawa that can be easily accessed from Dematagoda.  Along with these many can enjoy the sight in botanic Garden comprising of thousands of species said as paradise on earth, the elephant Orphanage- Pinnawala and Sigiria or the Lion Rock, a 200m rock carved in the shape of the lion.
