Trekking Sri Lanka is a small Tour organizer managed by one of the most experienced trekking guide, Deen.
The adventure and nature holidays we propose lets you discover the real Sri Lanka, as we try to keep away from the beaten tracks and popular sites visited by tourists.
Our Trekking in nature tours are based on sustainable tourism so that local people can benefit from tourism and from the social work we do in Colombo and the other places we visit.
Our Tour starts in Colombo, along the coast, where you stay one night in an hotel and visit the city.
From Colombo we then move to Kandy passing by paddy fields, palm groves and coconut plantations, which bring you to the elephant orphanage; in Kandy you visit to the temple of the holy tooth as well, and assist to a typical Kandyan dance performance.
The next stop of our trekking tour is the world famous Botanical Garden Peradeniya and the tea factory where you will be explained how the green tea leaves are treated to become high quality Ceylon Tea.
Your full-immersion in nature continues with an excursion to the
Horton Plains. A three-hour walk over the plateau will take you to World's End, considered the
most stunning view in all the country.
A Treeking in Sri-Lanka can't but do without include Bambarakanda falls, the highest fall in Sri
Lanka, reacheable through a path in the mountain with a breath-taking panoramic view.
We proceed by train, crossing the mountain till ohiya station where we continue our Trekking tour into a bautiful forest and colourful nature of tea estates and Diyagama Estate.
The Tour to disover Sri Lanka nature ends back in Colombo.
