Jaffna or better known as Harper is the capital city of the Northern Province, Sri Lanka.
The Jaffna Tamils belong to the Dravidian culture an celebrate all the Hindu Festivals such as Deepavali, Navaratri, Shivaratri and some other festivals also. Jaffna is renowned for its cultural centers. Thus with a cultural heritage city this city also has some of the significant historical sites that are worth visiting. People come across the world to visit these centers and historical sites. The city also has some of the renowned art centers that are not only famous in this region but also in whole of Sri Lanka.
Nestled in the lush greenery this place boasts some the beautiful landscapes that are quite unique and fascinating.
The climate of this place is quite moderate and can be visited at any time of the year.
