Tourist Guide Sigiriya
In the Central Province of Sri Lanka, Sigiriya lies in Matale District. This is an ancient rock fortress constructed from 477 to 495 A.D. and is one of the 7 World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka. The rock at this place is a hardened magma plug that has originated from an long-eroded and extinct volcano.

The average maximum temperature during the day varies from 28 to 32 degrees Celsius and the average minimum temperature in the night alters from 21 to 24 degrees Celsius.
