Suq Hamidiyah
Suq Hamidiyah or Al-Hamidiyah Souq is the largest and also the central souk in Syria, situated inside the Damascus city. Starting from Al-Thawra, it ends at the Umayyad Mosque plaza. This long covered market leads to the heart of the Old City and is home to various kinds of shops. This street dates back to the Roman times, and has been the center markets for many years.
