Food in Taiwan is quite similar to that prepared in Mainland China. However, the local specialities that are worth trying are beef noodle, oyster omelette, aiyu jelly (made from fig seeds), mochi (rice snack) and much more.
Similarly, there is long list of drinks that are served in Taiwan. Kaoliang, a very strong alcoholic drink, is a local speciality. Taiwan Beer, tea, coffee, fruit juices and soy milk are the other popular drinks.
