Taipei Songshan Airport is situated in the Songshan district of Taipei city and is easily accessible from the town center.
Occupying over .82 sq km of space, it mainly deals with domestic airlines and thus also known as Songshan Domestic Airport.
Apart from civilian usage, it also serves as a base for ROC Air-Force units, which provide security services for the President and Vice President of China.
The primary domestic airlines include EVA Air, China Airlines and TransAsia Airways. Daily Air and Asia Pacific, amongst others, provide unscheduled charter flight services.
Passenger services offered by the airport include food and beverage counters, a shopping mall, a currency exchange office, baggage and lockers facility, a post office and special services for the handicapped.
Information kiosks, a nursing station and even an insurance counter are offered for public use. The airport is Wi-Fi enabled and there are free internet booths on the second floor
