The Taipei Confucius Temple situated in Datong District, Taipei, Taiwan is modeled after the original Confucius Temple in Qufu, Shandong Province of China. The temple was built in 1879 during the Quing Dynasty, by famous architect Wang Yi-Chuan with full of traditional Chinese sculptures and painting, hence is the important historical building and popular tourists attractions in Taipei. 

It’s a grand scale of work, occupying a total area of seventeen thousand, one hundred twenty-eight square meters. The temple attracts thousands of tourists in the month of September every year when a ceremony with traditional music and stylized eight-row dancing is held at the temple in honor of Confucius, expressing the ultimate respect for his great teachings. This magnificent temple is built in honor of Confucius and other Confucian sages of southern Chinese motif. The Confucius temple also has a semi-circular pond, providing excellent feng shui for the temple.
