Taipei has many underground markets and malls to shop for. These markets sell various items and food stuffs. Right from multi storey malls to small stalls, one can find every kind of shops in various underground markets.
Some of the underground markets are Zhongshan Metro Mall, TMS Underground Mall, Station Front Metro Mall and station back Metro mall. The Taipei Underground market, an 825 meter long market having 28 exits and entrances is located at the intersection of the Daan and Zhongzehng Districts in Taipei City. Then, there is the Taipei Zhongshan Metro Shopping Mall, one of the biggest underground shopping mall in the world and the most popular tourist attraction in Taiwan. The mall comprises of various shops selling different products, restaurant, departmental store, small garden and a parking facility. Station front Metro mall, located beneath Zhongxiao west Road, covers an area of 3155.39 square meters with six plaza areas left for charity and commercial activities.
