Another popular destination in Taipei is the Chiu-Fen village. The village contains green mountains and one can view the beauty of the village from the top of the mountain. The village had served as a centre of gold mining earlier. The mines do not have any traces of gold now, but visitors can view the steep mountain sides at this location.
