Songshan District is a district of Taipei, Taiwan. The district has four region and many tourists’ attractions have been attracting the tourists all over. One can enjoy visiting many temples in Songshan including Ciyou temple, built in 1753, dedicated to a dark-faced goddess, Matsu.
Xiahai City Lord Temple built in 1753 and Taipei City Lord Temple, built in 1926 are a must visit places in this neighborhood. One can also enjoy shopping in The Raohe Street Night Market or visit the Raohe Street Night Market, one of the oldest night markets in Songshan located in Raohe Street, near Songshan Station with a length of 600 meters. Ciyou temple is easily accessible from the market. One of the worth visiting place in Songshan is also the Taipei Arena. Taipei Arena is an indoor sporting arena built in 2005. This large multi-purpose stadium is facilitated with the modern facilities and hosts various events ranging from concerts to sports.
