Yonghe District is a district in the southern New Taipei in Northern Taiwan. It had the highest population density in Taiwan and second in the world before the city became a district.
The district is famous for its soy milk. One can find advertisement of Yonghe Soy Milk all over Taiwan in breakfast stores. Moreover, many can find numerous restaurants and stores in the district selling Burmese products. The Taipei Metro’s Zhonghe Line is the popular mode of transportation of many travelers, especially residents. The markets of this district are Dingxi and Yongan.
There are three major bridges here, the Yongfu Bridge, the Zhongzheng Bridge and the Fuhe Bridge. Tourists visiting this district can enjoy their stay at many of the hotels offering accommodations and also guides who can show them around the district. What’s more, there are guided tours that offer the tourists the nearby attractions worth exploring.
