Dushanbe presents a good variety of monuments, museums and other sights that
decorate the view of the young capital.
Very interesting are the Museum of Ethnography, where you can
learn a lot about Tajik art, and the Tajikistan Unified Museum,
which has optimal exhibits on history, natural history and art.
If you like shopping, you can go to visit the covered Barakat market
or some of the charming makeshift bazaars scattered thorough the city.
It's also worth going to see a performance at Ayni Opera & Ballet
Theatre.
