Is one of the festivals most known in Thailand. During the full moon of the twelfth lunar month, people can be found on the rivers and canals to float a characteristic "basket" called Krathong traditionally made from the leaves and the banana tree trunk, containing candles, sticks incense and some oins.
This festival was originally a kind of thanks giving to the goddess of water. It is celebrated in a period where time and beautiful, and since we are left behind the rainy season.
