Many flower markets can be seen in Bangkok which has since then become the city’s main tourist attraction.
These markets are especially active at night after 2.00 AM, thereby they are also known as ‘Night Flower Market’.
One of the most famous flower markets in Bangkok is Pak Khlong Talaat. It is located on the Chak Phet Street and is close to the Memorial Bridge.
Along with a vast variety of flowers, the market also exhibits vegetables, fruits and spices.
During the early hours of morning, trucks from neighboring provinces and boats on the Chao Phraya River arrive with huge quantities of freshly cut flowers and other goods, making it the best smelling market in Bangkok!
The specialty is the red and pink roses, as well as Lotuses. The vendors arrange the flowers in many beautiful and innovative arrangements.
The Pat Phone is another famous Night Flower Market in Bangkok which has a vast amount of orchids.
It also sells many souvenirs, clothes and a variety of street-food.
