Wat Pho or Wat Phra Chettuphon as it is known to the Thais and is popular for the huge Reclining Buddha statue that it houses. The statue is 20 acres large and known as the largest Wat in Bangkok. Technically, it is the oldest statue dating back to 200 years prior to Bangkok becoming the capital of Thailand. Presently, this is one of the best tourist destinations to see the huge impressive gold plated Buddha which is 46 meters long and 15 meters high.
