Bangkok offers a huge range of banging night clubs, wild and classic western-style ex-pat pubs and a lot more for all tastes and age groups.
Witness how empty streets and alleys transform themselves into lively, colorful and vibrant nightlife areas offering live music, classic jazz, trendy electronic music, head banging hip hop or any other style of music of your taste.
While Bangkok’s nightlife scene is renowned to be wild and noisy, there are many other places that play classic and quiet music where you can relax your tired and tense muscles after a long day of visiting the capital’s landmarks. Most places in Bangkok close around 1-2 am. But don’t worry, if you want to continue partying, there are some clubs that open their doors such as the Spicy Club and Scratch Dog.
The clubbing scene is very lively! Those clubs are an extremly fun activity to finish the day and meet new people. It is recommended to go to clubs in which locals go as well. This ensures a safe and hassle free night where prices are transparent and the service good. Some examples: Route 66 or Slim, both in RCA, one of the most important area for nightlife in Bangkok.
For something more relaxing, in Kao San Road you'll find many pubs, bars and restaurants with fair prices for drinking and dining. There are many foreigners and tourists here.
