Ko Phangan: Attractions and more...
Ko Phangan, with its beautiful beaches and immense scenic beauty, is an ideal getaway. Khao Ra, the highest point on the island, offers breathtaking views of the island’s beaches. Laem Son Lake is another popular tourist attraction, visited by tourists from all over the globe. The water from the Thaan Sadet waterfall was often used by royalty for their special ceremonies.
Nam Tok Phaeng Forest Park is another famous location, while Koh Ma, an island on the north western corner of the Ko Phangan, is a favourite spot for snorkelling and sunbathing. Ko Phangan is also home to a number of beaches. Bottle Beach, Aow Bang Charu Beach, and Haad Leela Beach are some of the most popular beaches.
Ko Phangan’s Full Moon Party, which takes place on Haadrin Beach, brings in tourists from all over the globe. This monthly event is celebrated during the full moon.
