The Na Muang Waterfall is situated at about ten-km South of Nathon at the Ban Thurian region and is known as the most beautiful waterfall in Koh Samui islands.
There are in fact two waterfalls at this location. Na Muang One is around eighteen meters high and can be accessed by vehicle. Elephant rides are also available and they can take you up to the bottom of the waterfall.
Numbers of plunge pools are available on this waterfall, some of which can go quite high-up. One should be careful of the slippery rocks here. Na Muang Two is about eighty meters high can only be traversed by a thirty-minute walk from the first waterfall.
If you are planning to trek, be sure to wear good-grip shoes. A few beverage and food stalls are available near the foothills. Both of these waterfalls are best visited in the month of January.
