The Thai island of Koh Samui is dotted with several animal reserves. These parks and zoos attract a large number of tourists from around the world. The Samui Snake Farm is one such animal attraction on this island.
This is a place where visitors can see king cobras, giant pythons and a variety of other venomous and non- venomous snakes. The snake charmers from the Phangka village come here and handle these snakes, without any fear.
They present a show for the visitors, in which they even handle the deadliest of snakes in this area. Visitors can hold the giant pythons, if they are adventurous enough.
Apart from the snakes, visitors can see numerous crocodiles, mongoose and other reptiles in this park. Visitors can see a statue of the king cobra with 5 heads in this park.
The park is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for 'the longest stay with centipedes' and 'the longest stay with scorpions' categories.
