The Hat Noppharat Beach is situated at about eighteen-km to the west of Krabi town and is close to Ao Nang. The main feature of this beach is the long and straight three-km sandy stretch which is lined by casuarian trees.
It is popular amongst picnickers looking for a relaxed time and swimming, eating or just lazing in the sun.
Many stalls and seafood restaurants are lined up along the beach offering delicious food and good service. Deckchairs and umbrellas are not available on the beach, so carry a mat and find a perfect spot under the shades of trees to relax.
Longtail boat trips are also available. During the low-tide, one can also take a walk along the beachside. The beach also offers a few opportunities for nightlife enthusiasts. A couple of beer bars and a live-band performance is offered in the evenings.
