This Tiger Cave Temple is situated at about three-km north of main Krabi town. It can be reached by local rickshaws, Tuk-Tuks or by taxis and buses.

The complex consists of two main parts. The Tiger Caves features a system of caves surrounded by temples. There are a number of Buddha images sitting in various postures, symbolizing different days of the week.

There is one gigantic Buddha image, which has a small conveyer belt onto which travelers can put their money, which then gets carried away to the Buddha! A ‘wishing well’ is located within the same complex and tourists can throw a coin into the chasm after making a wish.

Buddha’s footprints can be found atop a mountain, which forms the second attraction of the place. Climbing around 1300 steep steps can be exhaustive, but the efforts are well-rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the surroundings.

Mountain formations, rubber-tree formations and beach views can all be seen atop the mountains.
