The Jomtien Beach is located about 2kms south of Pattaya. The beach is famous for its soft white sands and continuous long coastline, with very less number of anchored boats.
The scenery can be enjoyed unobstructed. Besides being known as a family-vacation spot, it has become popular mainly for its water-sports activities like parasailing, jet skiing, wind-surf, water-scooters and more.
One can even rent a small sail-boat to cruise the immediate sea. Local songthaew taxis are available to and fro from the Jomtien beach. The beach also offers comfortable sitting arrangements with food and drink facilities.
Jomtien is essentially a residential area with several bungalow complexes, beachside hotels, restaurants and condominiums. Pattaya Park Tower is the most visible landmark along the beachside.
It is a huge 56-story tower which houses a monorail, roller coaster, a water park facility and numerous fun filled children activities.
