The province of Surat Thani is home to some of Thailand’s most popular sites, making it an ideal tourist destination. Phra Borommathat Chaiya, an ancient pagoda, houses some of the ancient Buddha relics.

Ban Phumriang, a small handicrafts village, is popular for its gold and silver silk cloth.
The Chieo Lan Dam and the Khao Sok National Park are also popular. Ko Samui, an island located to the east of the capital city, is one of Thailand’s most famous attractions.
While visiting Surat Thani, be sure to visit the Ang Thogn Marine National Park which is home to beaches and beautiful corals.
The Rambutan Fair and the Thot Pha Pa Festival are the two most popular festivals.
