Ajman is a part of the prestigious union of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is the seventh in terms of area with a land that spreads to 260 square kilometres. It is surrounded by Sharjah on all three basic geographical directions. It is located along the Persian Gulf. Ajman is also the administrative head of the inland and enclaves Masfut and Manama. The city of Ajman is mostly agricultural. It is important to note that 95 percent of the entire emirate population resides in this city. Dubai and Sharjah contribute to the maximum immigrants. Democracy is still unfelt in these parts as monarchy rules the masses here. Currently the crown prince of Ajman is ‘Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi’. The city is rich in terms of wealth and people lead a lavish life. The city has experienced tremendous development and construction is booming in the last few decades. Ajman is known for its educational centres which are considered prestigious.
