Al Ain is the 4th largest city in UAE and is situated in the eastern region of Abu Dhabi adjacent to the border of Oman. The freeways form a triangle with the cities of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The city covers a total area of 13,100 sq kilometers and is surrounded by Abu Dhabi to the west, Saudi Arabia and Quarter desert to the south, Oman to the east and Sharjah and Dubai to the north. The city has a total population of 614,180 inhabitants as per the 2008 census. The city has an average relative humidity of 60%25 with an annual rainfall of 96mm. Although the city has the highest summer temperatures, the dry desert air is preferred by the people as compared to the coastal humidity of other gulf countries. The city is nicknamed as the ‘Garden City of the Gulf’ due to its several tree lined avenues, parks and oasis.
LACK OF ADVANCED PLANNING TO EXECUTE THE PROJECTS ON TIME. EXAMPLE: ONE OF THE LARGEST AMUSEMENT PARKS, AL AIN HILI FUN CITY IS WAITING FOR RENOVATION TO ATTRACT TOURISTS. OUT OF 83 HECTARES OF LAND, FUNCTIONAL ONLY 28 HECTARS. THINK ABOUT WATER THEME PARKS AND RESORTS IN THE PARK.
ROAD TRAFFIC SYSTEM GIVES PAIN TO THE PARENTS OF SCHOOL CHILDREN. PROMOTE METRO TRAIN SERVICES AND SKYLINES TO ATTRACT TOURISTS.
Al Ain is a great place to live and raise a family. It is very safe and has a small town feel to it but still has all the amenities of a big city. The traffic is light most of the time except driving to school and work in the morning. The people are helpful and friendly and the surrounding desert and nearby wadis provide beautiful places to explore.

I had good experience in Al Ain City. The mbazzara stream was a unique experience in my life as it was well-served and the utilities were available. I recommend you also to visit Hafeet Mountain.
I like Al Ain very much, i have been living there for about 8 years. Family wise, Al Ain is the best in UAE to live. Further, it is relaxing with no traffic and affordable.
