Sheikh Saeed’s House is the official residence of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum who was the ruler of Dubai from 1912 to 1958. He was the grandfather of the present ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This house is restored to stand on the Shindagha end of Dubai Creek. It dates back to 1896 and houses some rare collection of historic photographs, stamps, coins and documents that record back to Dubai’s history.
