Palm Jumeirah
The Palm Jumeirah is the smallest of the three Palm Islands and is a unique manmade island. It is an island built in the shape of a date palm tree and has a trunk, a crown having 17 fronds and also a surrounding crescent island which forms a water breaker. It was created using land reclamation by Nakheel, a company owned by the Dubai government.
