The museum is housed in the residence of the sheikh of Ras al Khaimah and is a very ancient building with rooms preserved with their immaculate architecture. The museum displays archaeological collections excavated twenty years back, silver collections, natural history samples such as rocks, shells and fossils and ethnographic material showcasing the traditional life of the people who lived here before.
