Tourist Guide Sharjah:

Sharjah is the government seat of the Sharjah Emirate and the 3rd most populous city in the United Arab Emirates.

The city is spread on an approximate area of 235 km² and has a population of over 800,000.

It is bordered by the cities of Ajmān, Dubai and the capital city Abu Dhabi lies at about 170 kilometers away.

Sharjah's climate is hot and humid. November to April sees warm sunny days with low humidity while May to September has high temperatures in excess of 45 degrees. Rainfall occurs from January to March.

The city contains plenty of traditional and cultural sites and is also famous for elegant mosques.

Thus, Emirate of Sharjah is known as the ‘Cultural Capital’ of the UAE. Sharjah is connected with the outer world by means of Sharjah International Airport and Port Khalid. However, there is no public transport in Sharjah.

Very good city to live in, moreover very much safe for ladies to go around. Trasportation within the city is also safe and good, not much expensive. Entertainment facilities parks etc for children. Affordable rent for an average family to live in and strict rules and regulations which is necessary for the peaceful life here. I love this place.

SUITABLE CITY TO STAY AND ENJOY LIFE WITH FAMILY. THE MAIN REASON TO SELECT THE CITY IS THE AFFORDABLE COST OF LIVING AND THE SAFETY OF PERSONAL LIFE. MOST OF PEOPLE IN THE CITY ARE FRIENDLY IN NATURE AND THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE CITY IS VERY CLEAN AND ALL THE ENTERTAINMENT PLACES INCLUDING THE GREEN PARKS ARE ENJOYABLE.

Sharjah is sharjah once you live in never want to leave the place even your native country. Sharjah is being developed in a way that all level of people can manage and stay easily in the beautiful emirate. I congratute the rulers who has broud minded planing to bring sharjah at world level cities. Regards Saif

Carry a credit/debit card or a handful of cash to get the most enjoyable benefits. Avoid short clothing (esp. women). Decency is respected. Carry cameras. Carry fishing equipment for fishing near coasts or deep seas on your risk. Carry water, sunscreen lotion, appropriate food as per the weather.

Good place to visit and do shopping. Beaches are excelent. People are very nice particular local people and very helpful. Police is also very generous. Environmental is very nice, no polution no tension.

Sharjah is the best city from whole UAE I beleive. The living style, not much expensive, safe, islamic easy to live for every person simple or modern... i like it very much

Nice place for family, has nice places on sea side also for camping and going to the dessert. Kalbaa is the famouse and khorfakan also Al madam, I love Sharjah

its must to have a driving licence if you want complete moving freedom. Taxis are there but very expensive and local transport like bus or metro is not here.

It's a good city. Markets are to near but bus are not and taxi is expensive a little bit. They should not take min Aed10 if the charges are lower than it.
