Sharjah offers an array of attractions for the tourists. Discovery center is the famous spot in the city. It consists of everything that can attract kids.
Sharjah Maritime Museum exhibits its marine specialty, which are pearls. Visitors can see a variety of pearls classified according to their shapes, sizes and prices.
Tools of the fishermen, ship craftsmen and divers are put on a display in the museum. The Arabian Wild Life center has a variety of desert animals roaming freely inside the park.
Though, Sharjah is the neighboring city of Dubai, it is quite different from the later. Dubai is more about flashy structures and luxurious ambiance. On the other hand, Sharjah is simpler in its outlook.
There are definitely some structures which have a combination of flashiness and luxury. However, people here are simple and visitors will feel like home in Sharjah. The weather is extremely dry, rather drier than Dubai. Hence, tourists are advised to dress appropriately.
