Osh, made of rice, vegetables and mutton is the most popular food preparation in Uzbekistan. Chuchvara and samosas (dumplings stuffed with vegetables or meat) also form an important part of the country’s cuisine. Other important and commonly available traditional dishes are based on lamb meat, mutton, beef and pastas.
Tea is the most common drink in the everyday life of the Uzbeks, while vodka is the most popular alcoholic drink in Uzbekistan.
