Floating Markets
Cai Rang Floating Market is the most famous floating market in Can Tho. Some other floating markets which are frequently visited are Long Xuyen, Nga nam, Phong Dien, Phung Hiep and Cai Be. These markets have a large number of floating restaurants and are a perfect venue for hanging out.
Can Tho City Museum
The Can Tho City Museum is located on Phan Dinh Phung Street. The exhibits in this museum offer an insight to the traditions, customs, cultures and native history of the nation.
Army Museum
The Army Museum is located opposite to the City Museum. Here, maps, weapons, photographs and other relevant objects from the Vietnamese War are displayed. After viewing these, one gets an idea of the long freedom fight of Vietnam.
Ninh Kieu Wharf
The Ninh Kieu Wharf is the prominent trading center in Can Tho. It is situated on the bank of Hau River. There are a large number of boats in this river and these bring products from other locations in the Mekong Delta region. The Can Tho Harbor is close to the Wharf and this harbor can accommodate ships up to 5,000 tons.
Ong Pagoda
The Ong Pagoda has a colorful Chinese architecture. It is located on Hai Ba Trung Road in the center of the city. It is the venue of all Chinese religious and cultural activities in the city.
