Vietnam is known not only for places of scenic beauty but also for historical sites and religious places.
Hanoi is popularly known as ‘the city of lakes’ owing to the numerous picturesque lakes in and around the city. Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake and Halair Lake are the ones worth visiting. It houses nearly 600 pagodas and ancient temples. One can also find a number of architectural landmarks that were built during the French rule.
Ho Chi Minh, the largest city in the country, also houses numerous spot of tourist attraction. Some of them are the Reunification Palace, Independence Palace, War Remnant Museum, Notre dame Cathedral and so forth.
Da Nang, one of the most important ports in Vietnam, is the right place for those looking out for quiet moments away from the hustle and bustle of crowd, in the lap of nature. The Marble Mountains and the Am Phu caves are a delight for the adventure lovers where they can hike, trek or picnic.
