Dalat is famous for its many waterfalls and lakes. Among the waterfalls you
cant miss a visit to the Prenn fall and to the Gougah
fall. Among the lakes, the Xuan Huong lake, approximately
5 km2, it is surely the city’s most famous. Even the Ho Than Tho
or Lake oF Sorrow, located approximately 5 km northeast of
the city, it is surely worth a visit and of course you will discover the reason
of his particular name.
Thung Lung Tinh Yeu (Valley of Love), is a park 5 km from the
centre of town. At the floor of the valley is Da Thien lake,
a small and peaceful lake where you can find boats for rent.
Other attractions in Dalat include the Lam Ty Ni Pagoda, the
Dalat Central Market and the Yersin Flower Park,
with lovely examples of orchids.
