An enthralling sight is the Du Hang Pagoda which was built in the seventeenth century. The place houses various statues of Bodhisattvas and goddesses like the Goddess of Mercy. Several worshippers visit the place all round the year.
Displaying unique architecture, reminiscent of the past is the Hang Kenh Communal House. The house has been constructed in the shape of a boat and boasts of a beautiful exterior with carved frames and wooden pillars.
The Cat Ba Island is an archipelago which consists of lush forest zones, beaches, caves and waterfalls. Part of the island has been designated as a national park and it is also the starting point of the alluring Halong Bay, which is a World Heritage Site.
Another appealing place is the landscape of Trang Kenh which has limestone mountains, exotic caves and serene lakes. Some of the caves house statues of well-known Vietnamese kings as well as fresh water streams and tunnels.
