Essentials to Carry

A lot of things must be kept in mind while packing tour bags for Hanoi, Vietnam. It is preferred to carry a backpack to avoid being overcharged for a ride to the train station.

Bring comfortable shoes to roam around the city and sandals are very much optional. Hanoi is pretty cool in winters, so make sure to get a warm coat and a pullover along. Do not forget to bring socks.

Vietnamese are very conservative regarding dressing, so mostly wear long pants and long or short sleeves tops. But due to the heat, tourist’s uniform for women is Capri’s or pedal pushers and sleeveless tops.

You may keep a pair of shorts for wearing around the hotel. It is likely to rain in winters so don’t forget to carry an umbrella with you.

Carry a small bag to hold your knick knacks while you are planning to see islands or any other tourist place. Do not forget to keep all your important documents.
