Hanoi Packing List

While travelling to Hanoi do not forget your passport, a comfortable pair of walking shoes and insect repellent as it can come in handy.

In winter it can be quite chilly so carry a jacket and warm clothes while travelling in this season.

A light backpack is useful as one can save money by walking with the luggage if high rates are being charged by the ‘cyclos’.

Drizzle is common in winter so do carry an umbrella. A camera and photo equipment is also useful while visiting some of the tourist attractions.

The other things to be brough include toiletries, medicines, sunglasses, bath supplies (though these are available in most hotels), a credit card and cash.

Though most things are available in the shops here, it would be advisable to carry a map and a laptop as internet cafes can be quite expensive.
