Yemen’s is being helped by the IMF for developing its economy. The country is dependent primarily on crude oil and petroleum refining for generating income. Some of its important agricultural products are grain, fruits, coffee, cotton etc.
Daily average expenses for a traveller are not too high in the country. Expenses for a day in Yemen may be anywhere between 5,000 YER and 7,500 YER. Buses are a good option when in bigger cities, but cars are a compulsion in the outskirts.
