Caribbean cuisine is a meltin’ pot from all over the world taste and flavour mixed with traditions of the natives homeland.

African, British, Spanish and Midle East specialities come togheter in spicy, tasty and colorful typical dishes. Either you like Fish, meat or vegetables, in the Caribbean region you can surely find something palatable.

Following are five famous and quite tasty specialities from Caribbean cuisine. Some of them are very simple to be cooked and can be well appreciate from everyone:

1 – The Conch is a big shell pink coloured inside. Its shellfish is quite delicious and can be served uncooked with coconut and lime sauce or simply grilled. Taste it both! Once finished dont throw it away! You can use the shell like ornaments for your home and garden.

2 – Lobster Salad is a fresh tasty and precious plate dressed with onion and green salad. Tuna Salad and Avocado Salad can be even the right choice as contour.

3 – Callalou Soup is a mix of vegetables with spices. The name is referred to the Callalou. This plant have big and green leaves tipical from Caribbean region. Healthy and very tasty

4 - Shrimp Creole consting of cooked shrimp cooked with tomatoes, dressed with a lot of tabasco and sided with white rice. Quite good everyday for a snack.

5 – End your meal with sweet fried plantains served with fresh vanilla.
