Altan Ha is the historic site of the ruins of an ancient Maya city in Belize. Altan Ha is a modern name given to the ruins in the Maya language and are temple pyramid replicas. Known as the ‘Temple of the Masonry Altars’, it is 54 feet high and covers an area of around 5 square miles. Through archeological investigations, it was found that these sites were occupied by 200 BC.
