I went cave tubing it was awesome. 37 miles on the Western Highway there is this place called Jaguar Paw it is about 45 minutes drive from the city but it is worth the while. You can do a jungle trek then cave down the river and after that ziplining through the beautiful rainforest canopy or you can just walk around the area have a couple of drinks. I recommend coming to Belize if you love adventure there is so much to do it was great.
Do not cross roads unless if there is a pedestrian ramp. Ensure that you check your time before you start walking at night. If you feel insecure have a a group walk to nearby stores or pay a fee for be sure to comply with all rules, laws and safety measurement of the city. Remember to always keep your cellphones charged because you are going to have fun and would be inviting friends all around.
