Bermuda is home to several political, social and cultural events. 24 May is celebrated as the Bermuda Day which is followed by the Emancipation Day celebrations in August. The nation celebrates Somer’s Day in August and Labour Day in September. Remembrance Day is celebrated on 11 November.

Apart from these, Bermuda hosts several other cultural festivals. The Bermuda Festival which is Bermuda’s major cultural event showcases international classical, jazz and pop artists. While vacationing in Bermuda, be sure to watch the Gombey dance which is Bermuda’s cultural expression of African tradition. Destination Dockyard Street Festival is another major Bermudian event.
